Freshwater Fishless Tank Cycle

Definition: A fishless tank cycle is a technique used in newly set-up aquariums to establish the bacterial colonies required to remove toxic waste created by livestock. You must complete the process before the addition of your chosen fish and other livestock, hence the term fishless.
